yesterday i tried broad beans (fava beans) for the first time

first you gotta cook them a bit, and then when you wanna eat them you kinda have to squeeze them out of this skin-like layer?? tbh it’s fun and actually tasty, it felt like eating sunflower seeds but instead of cracking a shell, you're peeling a legume
i had this idea: since people often bring a bag of sunflower seeds to hangouts and just munch on them, why not show up to the park with a pot full of cooked broad beans?? sounds like a plan ig
