Drawing VII: The wplace.live experience

Sooooo, a couple days ago, I was on twitter, right, and then, I was seeing a couple of tweets about this website called "wplace", it's like, google maps and r/place combined. Sooo, as a self-proclaimed artist, I entered it.

It's cool, I guess. So, I made this little drawing, of my oc (that is featured in this blog entry), you know, and I had to put a verse on it, as always, because it's so fun just cherry picking an out context verse from a song, so for this one, I choose the 4th verse of Truth and Movement, not only because it was one of the songs featured in that release, but also I was relating to it (instead of sleeping I was making stupid pixel art). Ok, here's the first one:

Also I did a little signature on the side and a random note, a guy named "leema" made a Shadow, the Hedgehog, right on the signature was in it, but they kept it intact, and here it is the two drawings:

Yeah, I suck at pixel art lol.

So, after it, I did another one, another drawing of another ocs-based-on-albums-but-i-swear-to-god-i-only-listen-to-one-band-so-i-just-should-call-it-ocs-based-on-diorama-albums oc, (featured in this other blog entry), I finnished it yesterday, but for some reason, some motherfucker did a FUCKING GIANT HEROBRINE IN THE MIDDLE OF SÃO PAULO I THINK forcing the devs to close the sever, and I lost the final version of that drawing, haha, I love my life, anyways, I had to redo it. Here's the recent version, because I didn't screenshot the other one hahahaha, I'm so dumb omg:

Actually, I wasn't really suposted to put the text to make reference of that song, but I didn't had droplets (the websites money) to buy the colors for the hair (the other browns sucked), so I wrote first in black, but I still didn't had droplets so I changed to teal. Also I made the background for the same reason. Whatever, today I had to color the letters and redo the hair highlights again, fuck that motherfuckers again. Also, do you believe that the fucking hair took me like 1 day just to get the shape right? Yeah, I told you, I suck at pixel art. Fuck it.

Actually, for the next drawing, I tried to use those pixelate filters and I wanted to make a whole ass big drawing in the Antlantic Ocean, but thank god I changed plans, because I would had my progress erased. Btw this was the reference pic, I'm so fucking crazy, I would take a month to do this shit:

Btw, this is a 301x196 pic, meaning I had to do 58996 PIXELS, why.

So I screw it and made something smaller, so I just did the fucking Covenant logo instead, which is already a pixel art, but because of the Shadow drawing, I had to cut a little bit of their legs lol. Btw, that shit was also erased in the closedown, so I had to remake it, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Here:

Also, I got the space between the guys wrong, but if you have a good music taste, you will recognize anyways.

Yeah yeah anyways, here's a rating of the website:

Good things: pretty cool concept, it's pretty cool to explore other's people's drawings, and it's pretty simple.

Bad things: transactions, griefing, limited pixels, the pixels took too much time to recharge, very limited colors, you have to buy more than the half colors available in the game, the pixels are wasted very fast, you have to pay to have custom profile pics for some reason.

But it's pretty cool, I'll do more drawings on it, a 8/10.

If you decide to explore the website, my drawings are in Portugal btw, on the zone of Porto #3, now try to hunt for them, but if you do griefing, I'll be very upset, that shit took days.

Edit 1: the Diorama fanatic forgot the difference between similar and smaller

Edit 2: some fucker drew a swastika in my drawing TWO TIMES. Thank god, the leema guy erased it and tried to correct my drawing.
