Fuck it, I made a wallpaper for my laptop!1!!!1!!!!!1111 + anoyher random art I did between these entries + old drawing bonus

Don't you ever get bored of your laptop wallpaper after some time? I do lol. Sooooo, instead of searching "4k desktop wallpapers ultra hd free download" I...DREW IT!!!! (the blog title says it all lol) 

Anyways, sooooooo, I thought to myself: "So, if I'm following the same pattern of customizing my devices themed as like, Diorama albums/eras, why I still didn't on my laptop? So, i picked up this random photo of Torben (i'm not beating the simp allegations) and used it as reference because I think it's cute ig:

Soo, after like 3 hours of drawing the character I tried to think "what should i do for the background??????" and I started trying to find photos from A Different Life era... if it wasn't 18 YEARS AGO. That shit was so hard bro, i put shit like "diorama band after:2005 before:2011" and most pictures or were about the band, but on the Cubed era or it was just you know, the dioramas. So, my last hope was le lastfm. It didn't have almost anything it had like 3 photos from the booklet, one that was probably from the same photoshoot because of the background, and another one that I believe that was also taken on that same photoshoot but in a different background. Most of the old photos were concerts sadly :(. So, I just took a little bit of inspiration of this poster (especially the border design) I found on insta, that coincidentally it was my favourite part of my favourite song of my favourite band!1! But before y'all say that it doesn't look similar, I don't need to copy it, shut up, y'all don't know my mind, I get inspired of something and even thought it doesn't look like it, I still got inspiration, and that's what art and being an artist is about! Also I loved the idea of kinda the mouse that I kinda incorporated the retro windows 9x into the design because why NOT. Whatever, then I tried to fit two lines in the middle and the other two on the borders (I wish it looked similar as the poster but I'm so bad at making the words repeat on the borders, so fuck it) and duplicated and inverted as I always do with other designs with text on borders. And I felt it was kinda boring the background so I added the character with the black and white filter. Also, random note, I love how the ai disturbance filter gives kinda a texturized feeling to it, but I don't like putting it too high, so it's kinda hard to see (I always put on 15 even though I don't really think it works and I don't want to download nightshade and nowadays I'm putting sneaky watermarks with my twitter handle.

Also, it looks less satured in real life, but that's because I always put the lighting on my laptop on the minimum (and rarely on 10-20).

Anyways, if you read the title, I promised that I would show you two drawings so, here is the second one I didn't a blog entry on it, it's the same character but I forced myself on only using two colors and their shades (that emerald green and that clear brown). I would say the name of the piece but it's so fucking long lol. Whatever, I didn't know what lyrics I would put on it, so I thought: "why not that line on Logic Friends" BINGO!!! So, here it is, I like it expect the mouth but I suck drawing open mouths, it's not a now thing.

Yeah, so the background is kinda similar to the other one but I don't like really simple backgrounds, so that's why it has two of the same person with again, the ibis paint white and black filter.

The reference it's on the same photoshoot as the last one, just look at the website on the photo.

Whatever, a BONUS is that I found an old drawing I made on my tablet, it's one of my first digital drawings as you can tell, the shitty blending, the circle tool head, the bad colored eye, yeah, it's ass but it's nice how to see how I grew as an artist.
