starting to think half of y'all don't even like music. you like the aesthetic. the look. the "vibe".
some of you need to stand in a dingy-ass venue for 3 hours, get elbowed in the ribs, and almost lose your shoe in a pit before you say you're punk/emo/scene again.
half of y'all are too young to get in anyway.
watching tiktoks and shopping at hot topic isn't a subculture. posting blurry selfies with "rawr XD" captions isn't reviving 2007. being chronically online doesn't make you alternative.

I'm into the music and I love it but I don't consider myself emo at all, even if sometimes I use the bang style and I love the fashion
People who believe that emos are only the ones who dress like that pmo because it's mostly music and it comes from punk if I remember correctly, it was supposed to fight for the mental health sighhh. You can be emo if you don't dress emo as long as you listen to the music
agree, it all came from politics in a way so you should like the music and have some opinions abt politics at least in my opinion that is
