Sweet Oblivion

Sometimes I wish I could go back to the person I was before everything.

Back when ignorance was bliss

the start of nothing.

Just sweet oblivion.

The less I knew, the better.

But I guess life doesn’t work like that.

Our experiences shape us.

...and if nothing else,

they taught me who truly deserves a place in my life.

I refuse to live a life I don’t deserve.

I refuse to ever settle.
