aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
so i was messing around on bass and i found a cool pattern i liked and then i accidentally picked up a guitar and i guess im making a song now. and there's nothing that makes me feel dumber than writing song lyrics. i feel like through a few spacehey posts is the most emo yet less pretentious way to write a song, so i guess thats what im doinginspirations
- misery business
- dream boy
- numb
- back to december
- what we do for fun
- take her to the moon
- cardigan
- taylor swift and paramore in general
- idk this is a kinda love song??
- that blog post i wrote about my complicated feeling towards my ex
parts of the thing
-intro (instrumental)
- first verse
- prechorus
- chorus
- second verse
- prechorus
- chorus
- bridge
- third verse
- chorus
my ideas for parts of the thing
- intro already written, i'll write tab for bass and guitar
- first verse, i havent seen you in a while and i dont really need to see you again but i still miss u
- prechorus along the lines of "if i could talk to u, what would i say"
- i have this partly written, the lyrics so far are: i kinda really knew you... and i kinda really liked you. and you kinda really knew me and you liked me too. but now it's done. now its gone. now it's time for me to move on. and i'm trying. but i dont know how.
- second verse, it's been a while since we broke up, it's been a while since you broke up with me, in front of all my friends, tried to pretend i was fine
- if you could talk to me, what would you say
- same as last chorus
- already have it written: cause I remember your stories and when you told me you loved me and sneaking out to the starbucks while pretending to study. your dumbass doc martens and your iron maiden tee. and your mom's silver necklace and how you moved on from me
- it's been a while since you moved on. and i cant say that i dont miss you
- chorus
- outro already written, i'll write tab for bass and guitar
things 2 add
- drums, i have no experience with those so i'll probably use garageband or a different online program for those
- acquire an electric guitar, the acoustic sounds fine but i think electric would just sound so much better
- i think a snow globe esque intro but with violin fading into guitar/drums/bass could be cool, one of my friends plays violin so i might ask her to give a listen add a sample?
- learn how to mix/edit audio
