I bench pressed with dumbbells over 25lbs for the first time. I thought I'd be able to use 50lbs but I was only able to use 40lbs. Maybe I could have used 45lbs but the difficulty was in getting to the starting position. Also, I assume due to using a smith machine, my stability muscle were weak so I had trouble keeping the weight steady.
I had a great workout. I am officially using 20lbs for the super set. It feels like I am almost too weak to do that but not not quite.
I am thinking about getting rid off the super set and just doing individual movements. I am just not enjoying it that much. The best way to proceed is most likely to build two plans. One for the gym and one for home workouts.
Whatever happens. I am slowly going to run out of time before the next convention. I need to ramp up the calories. I have been slacking on the intake and it shows.
