driving tests sucks X_x

CW : ranting about bad driving class/test 

So today I had my driving test, and it was imo so unfair.

In class. I was taught with an old version of the car to which I have no problem with. However, during the test (for the inside road obstacles) I had to suddenly use the new version of the same brand car that has full different mechanics. The most annoying part is the break and accelerate pedals because compared to the old one, it's so short it's hard to control properly without suddenly stopping on accident.

Mind you, I've only drove the new car once and it also did not went well. It feels so annoying because not only do I think it's a personal car (I opened the back bonnet to check for important items, I was greeted with a mess of family items instead), but since I barely ever used the new car (only once), I had to adapt too suddenly to do everything I did smoothly with the old car used during class. Because of the short break pedal that was so unstable, the car was as slow as my brain in maths and suddenly turn fast like I hit the accelerate pedal causing me to do either a quick stop to avoid crashing or the break suddenly stopping completely when I only want to slow down.

That caused me to fail my second part of the test, and it fucking sucks because I don't have anymore time to spare to retake the test (I live in another state for studies). Thankfully my public road test was quick and passing.

I wouldn't have any problem if I were to fail out of my own clumsiness if I used the old car I've trained to drive with, but to suddenly change the whole mechanic is just shit and some of the things that were suddenly told to do in the test, we did not learn at all which caused mark deduction. Funny enough, you can pay to pass your test for 200 bucks which is just corruption on broad daylight. I would pay but bro 200 bucks I would rather spend on maybe BTS merch or save for future concerts. Paying to get a license that I wouldn't even use until maybe I'm in my late 20's would just be a waste anyway.

I just wished our test would've been exactly like we were taught, but nope, if you fail, it's apparently all on you. What a joke lol.

(p.s : i never had any interest in driving as of recently because i know my neurodivergency will make it difficult for me. i'm pushed to get a license by my parents, i know it's "for my own good" but it's probably also because they're jealous/fomo my cousin has a license)

(p.s.s : i love public transports ((aside from the slow/creeps)) and prefers to be a "passanger princess" because i don't trust myself to drive confidently. also my friends who has a license also never drove a car when we're back at campus, cars are expensive and we are broke kids.)
