DEFTONES DROPPED

HELL YEAH THEY ARE MY FAVORITE BAND I KNOW I'M A LITTLE LATE I FORGOT TO WRITE ABOUT IT HERE BUT NEW SINGLE GUYSSSSS

Nothing deep about this blog to be fair, i just find their new single cool enough to listen and yeah, it is not peak(for me at least) but i enjoy it and its lyrics and i'm excited to check out the album when it comes out (i'm not free on 22nd of august). 

Also, i liked ohms quite a lot( especially the spell of mathematics, urantia, ceremony, randiant city) and i'm sure that they are continuing with that style BUT they brought back the same producer from koi no yokan and diamon eyes so i'm expecting influences from there(already noticed them in my mind is a mountain). Even if koi no yokan isn't really my fav, i feel very nostalgic listening to the album as it was my first deftones record that i owned, gifted by a friend before we were even friends. Still, I love diamond eyes' aggressiveness so i am looking forward to that in private music.

One thing i didn't like was that all tracks are written without any capital letters, i think it ruined the aesthetic for deftones because they never did that before and it looks really out of place, when really, the record won't innovate the band's sound. (Or at least that's what i'm thinking). 

Even if it gets hate online from what i've seen, i like the album cover with the white snake. Deftones always had simple album covers, guys, diamond eyes is just an owl, right? Still, really iconic. I know that snakes have been used before or whatever, but I still think it's symbolic for the band.
