Superman Thoughts

Hi all,

I watched Superman on Thursday by myself. My friends cancelled because not all of us were able to go together, so it was implied to just watch it on our own accord (whether we wanted to make plans with a smaller group and whatnot). I decided immediately that I would watch it the same day they cancelled, because I like super-hero films and I'm not gonna keep waiting for others!

I bought a Superman t-shirt a week prior when I went to the mall with my family, so I wore that to the screening!

The movie was 'super'-fun. I liked the action, the lighting (unlike how dark and washed MCU movies are >_>), and all the quirky things about superhero films. Mister Terrific was my favourite character. I'm really happy with how they handled orbiting drones in his fight scenes. I'm not sure if a lot of people actually care if they don't play games, or ARPGs in particular, but automated wisps, bullets, missiles, or any sort of projectile is so incredibly beautiful. I'm glad they handled his T-Spheres well. The flight and return -- mwah!

The reception of the film is also really positive on TikTok, especially with its anti-Israel, Pro-Palestine themes. yippie! I love superhero films!
