had a nice day + saw a rainbow

last night I watched butch cassidy and the sundance kid, and I really enjoyed it. I found it actually quite funny, and sundance was especially charming to me. today, I went to some antique stores with my family, and I ended up buying a tiny copper cowboy hat and a sign that says 'cowboys welcome', which was a bit inspired by the movie, but I also just like cowboys. it was the first time I've gone anywhere in about 2 weeks, so it was very nice to walk around.

we went to a bookstore as well, and I got a book of poems, a western book (my dad chose it for me), and a copy of flowers for algernon. I read flowers for algernon in the 8th grade and loved it, but my copy was just printed pages stapled together. fun fact, we later had to write fanfiction about the story and I titled mine after a will wood song because I was having a phase. 

anyways, while we were in the car I got to see a rainbow, which I haven't seen in years. I didn't get a picture but I stared at it for most of the ride, it was lovely. we went to a buffet and the place was selling Pokemon cards? my dad surprised my brother and I with them. it was all quite nice. I love going out, especially at antique stores because they always have such beautiful paintings (though I can't afford them). 

I want to start walking around. I have a fear of being looked at which has always stopped me before, but every time I wake up knowing I'm going to spend another day in my bedroom, it just drives me crazy and makes me feel worse. I'm excited to overcome my fears and have something new to look forward to.
