ive been inactive here for like 5 months which is cray bc i love this website!!!! sorry about that. i think i left mostly because im 1. terrible at conversations and making friends and 2. addicted to tiktok/reels/shorts so i got bored quick (im in the process of undoing that :3).
i want to get into cooking i think :3 i made some accordion potatoes yesterday and they were perf. today im making sushi hand rolls, which is just sushi rice (seasoned) + krab meat (mixed w japanese mayo and some oil i think?) + nori (seaweed sheets). i could also make some california rolls bc i have cucumba and avocado :3
has anyone made anything yummy recently (or tried to)? have u seen something online u want to try? TELL ME EVERYTHING!! i need recs

dude sameeeee. i've never really liked cooking, but i'll be off my school's meal plan in a few months so i kind of have to learn. preparing meat grosses me out so i'm gonna try some plant-based recipes!! one that sounds really good is an enoki mushroom korean fried "chicken" that i've been dying to try. i'm also gonna try sprucing up my favorite ramen packets so i can have some cheaper options
OMG i also wanna eat more plant based stuff bc i feel so bad eating animals i try not to think about it :( i will def be looking for that mushroom stuff u mentioned nxt time im @ the local korean food store bc i just looked it up and it looks so good wtfff

what kind of stuff would u put in ur ramen? my mom tells me to put chicken in it and eeehhh i dont want to

lolll sorry for the late response i've been so busy and inactive.....
but ramen!!! some of my favorite toppings are shredded carrots (or the spirally noodle-shaped variety) and bok choy!! i bet mushrooms would be good too and i've been meaning to try adding things like eggs, cheese, and chili oil because i've heard they can be tasty. do you have any other ideas??

its okayy i understand ive been super busy too w school T_T
i used to eat ramen w eggs, id scramble them in a cup w a little milk then pour in slowly while the soup is boiling . but recently its been more of a "comfort" food? idk if thats the right word. but when it's too early or too late for me to handle eating a more complicated meal (too many textures/ flavors) i'll eat ramen, and i feel like adding stuff is the opposite of what ramen means to me yk?! its terrible + i need to eat healthier but sometimes i physically cant eat normal stuff its too gross T_T
