In the darkness of this world some radiant souls shine like a beacon of light bringing hope and healing with them. We are honoured to have such a soul among us right here on SpaceHey.
I speak of Onnaya. Reading her beautiful poetry helped me regain the ability to see the natural world as the thing of beauty and joy that it is meant to be experienced as in sharp contrast to how I was forced to experience it. Her kind words to me and understanding she has shown has made my path of inner healing so much smoother and her tribute to me as “the wildflower boy”meant(and still means) so much to me.
But there is more. Onnaya is not only a poet. She is also a medical student. Pushing herself to exhaustion between studying,taking exams and working at the hospital,risking compromising her own health and wellbeing through dedication to helping the health and wellbeing of others.
A tribute to Onnaya a radiant beacon of light shining in the darkness that surrounds us.

Jamara, your words shine just as brightly as you say I do , thank you for wrapping me in so much kindness and warmth. You have such a gentle, wildflower soul yourself, and I feel so lucky to walk this path alongside you.
