Greetings Midnight Misfits:
I might not have much to speak at the moment, however, the cave has finally been reorganized with a snowy hue.
As of now, I'm looking to collect tape recorders and will be perusing through antique stores in hopes of a search. I do hope to find particularly interesting CDs and tapes as well, but the best I came across was an Audio Adrenalin "Hit Parade" a nice throw back I recall friends owning back in the day.
Seeing all these "retro" things takes you almost out of this timeline, impressing one to look at the string of events called life. What time was used on the little moments that ended up having impacts way down in the future. Humbled in a way, but also invigorated to move forward and "do" the Word rather than passively speaking it.
After shooing away one of my crows dozing off again, I've selected from the shelf a particular tune that encapsulates the feeling, I suppose. Yes, there is many a thing to fear, it's a dreary world where one could prick their finger on a lovely smelling rose before a tree branch tumbles onto the sidewalk and breaks your leg. Or worse...taxes.
And with so many earthen man dusting up the painting of blood created by Christ, it's hard to even see the path etched by the Shepherd. But, I suppose that is where logic ends and faith begins. To make the choice of going out according to the Great Commission or fading away. And yet, is the true Shepherd speaking? Are we limping along with a hazardous stitched together sort of contraption called faith, or is it the Holy Spirit that stays by "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'” (Isaiah 30:21) Perhaps a return to the fountain of blood,

Psalm 51:7-12
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
