FOR ANYONE CURRENLTY IN THE US IN THE HEAT WAVE ZONE!!
we're going into wet bulb temps, meaning the humidity is so high your sweat doesnt evaporate enough to cool you of. its not just "high heat". if you can please stay inside near AC or fans.
if you are on an SSRI i cannot stress this enough STAY inside. they block the receptors that allow your body to cool off faster, making you at a much higher risk for things like heat stroke.
water is good, but go for electrolytes!
if you need to cool off holding something cold to your neck or inner thigh near the groin area should help some. its the closest to major arteries.
im down in FL right in the extreme zone. i feel like alot of people are underestimating this type of weather. once again, its not just 'hot' its disturbingly humid.

i am just now getting over being sick from the heat after 9 days this is no joke -.-" i even went to urgent care they tested me for a bunch of stuff and it was all negateve so i think i had rlly bad heat exaustion or mild heat stroke. propel and zofran r life savers 👍
the heat is so gnarly rn especially for people who arent used to it. I'm in FL and am used to hitting the 100s in the summer. had a friend in idaho who was at 89 when we were at 95. genuinely horrific.

thx. it has been rlly rlly bad here in michigan, not suppose to get like this, at least not for such a long time. im used to heat waves that last like a week, not a month or more
