sum of the meanest ppl i knew online were scene , myspace was full of drama gore racism homophobia and all that, most ppl couldnt afford or just didnt like the mcbling style , on my old account i made a whole blog about how the 2000s were far from perfect and not just about fashjion and shit that ppl never lived then think it was. but these ppl just boil the 2000s down to mcbling and frutiger aero and hot topic, thats it, its so dumb

"real" scene kids from back in the day were toxic af. from the glorification of EDs and SH, to the many minors taken advantage of. I'm not saying the subculture is bad and needs to burn or whatever.
