Choosing to ignore the 8+ books stacked upon my shelf right now waiting to be read and instead I'm asking if you guys have any recommendations for books to read? Preferably about queer or alt history, or some really good gothic novels if you know any. I also have a taste for stuff with themes of Christianity or religion so yeah basically anything good! Just leave it below, thx!!!

idk if you can find this in english but ohhh god, if you want some weird ass book that mixes the dark parts of religion and female dystopia then you have to read las indignas by agustina bazterrica!!!
she also wrote cadaver exquisito (tender flesh?? i think that's the name in english?? that's also a sick, twisted wonderful book).
she's such a wonderful writer with novels full of social critique, you should check her out.
