Old Tech Was Cooler

Hello it is that time of the month where i pull out my mothers 4h generation16GB ipod nano and one if my dads old phones and pray that the batteries have magically fixed themselves- they never will but it gives me a reason to keep them just in case. I have the same Ipod as my mother but half the GB size and beat the fuck up, which is my fault because despite how hard i try to take care of my devices they all get fucked up eventually, the screen on my current ipod is broken and has all those silly lines all across the top right corner, and while i cried my stupid heart out when it happened i have come to terms with the fact that the screen will just have to stay like shit. I don't really need to see the screen anyways, especially that corner, though it has made some of the colors a little funky. UPDATE right after i posted this it whitescreened so now the screen doesn't work at all lol fuck me then!! (Updated update its okay again)

The Iphone is the very first one (so gen 1) and im so sad that it dies off the charger and even on the charger because i would do anything to try and get it to work, ive gotten to the set up screen on it but it needs more power to stay alive than my computer can provide to do the needed setup work. I tried to call my pal through the emergency number thing but alas they are not an emergency number. But seriously free me from the days of fat ass lame boring shitty iphones with 15 cameras, give me a flip phone and you will actually never hear from me again. I have my ipod and my camera collection and thats all i need, if only i could figure out the messaging system for my ipod and see if it was any good. (if anyone has any good flip phone brands or types actually let me know because ive genuinely been looking into them for years) 

this is the farthest this little phone goes function wise until it restarts again ^
