Unemployed again (and happy about it)

I don't know why Slay the Princess has become a mandatory part of my blogs. Don't question it.

ANYWAY!

Finally free from the below-minimum-wage slave labor I put myself through! 
Listen guys... As much as being employed is, you know, good and the right thing to do, it has so many drawbacks, especially if it turns out that the place you applied to work at either always was or has gradually become bad and unsustainable for you.

Customer service jobs are prooobably the bottom of the barrel or very close to it. And here's a word of advice... Intercultural jobs fucking suck unless it's like, something you're into. Gotta admit that the cultural barrier was aaabsolutely getting in the way (the cultural barrier being the tendency of the other culture to literally bend and break their back to satisfy customers instead of being normal about it).

Anyway, given that this was my last week, I did my best to slack off as much as possible but while also putting in an okay amount of work. How can I tell that I still did way more than I should've? The soreness. My entire body is sore. The other night, I was sure I was going to die in my sleep because my heart started fucking up and "skipping beats" and feeling weird.

Thankfully, all that is behind me now. I will likely take a break as I have an okay amount of money saved up and I dooo have some plans for July (if you know, you know). 

I'm going to a hackathon/game jam event today and it will last until Sunday, so, we'll see how that goes... And it will be covered in one of my future blog posts very likely.
