My own Typology System (Worldbuilding)

It's my first post here is my Made-up Typology System which mainly includes some changes to the actual ones right now.

Firstly, maybe it's just because ive been through alot but I don't think everyone can be classified into stereotypes of specific MBTI or enneagram and sometimes there is just more than one combination (and no i'm not a sx4 😒) I wasn't happy with the system for my characters so I made my own, and it's more simple to write how they would react and talk now.

Typology in Starverse (PH)

Typology is a structured yet flexible system used to understand personality, behavior, and motivation. It has been studied as a tool for self-discovery, helping individuals recognize their strengths, preferences, and deeper instincts.

While typology is pseudoscience, it follows consistent patterns and provides valuable insight. To form a clearer understanding, it is recommended to study multiple systems:

MBTI — Cognitive functions and mental processes.

Instincts — Core drives that influence decision-making.

Enneagram — A framework for understanding personal growth and core fears.

Typology does not define a person entirely, nor is it fixed. It adapts with experience and can shift over time. Some believe it is connected to the soul and may even persist beyond another life. Not entirely wrong—But typology is always changing and adapting.

Its influence has not gone unnoticed. Those in positions of power have recognized its potential and, in some cases, have begun to use it as a tool—whether for guidance or control.

In Starverse I have changed typology to become more adaptable and open-minded. Now leaving multiple pathways for personality.

This does not affect individuals in a negative way or change them to be unstable.

MBTI

Every MBTI has 4 letters in their function stacking, one of each letter, and 2 of I and E, two E or two I cannot touch eachother.

The functions explained simply:

Ni — Focusing

Focuses inwardly on abstract concepts, seeking deeper meaning and understanding, often drawing conclusions based on insights.

Ne — Exploring

Seeks patterns and possibilities in the external world, constantly looking for new ideas or future opportunities.

Si — Storing

Focuses on past experiences, using memory and recall to understand and compare the present to what’s been experienced before.

Se — Experiencing

Focuses on the present moment, perceiving the world through the five senses and reacting to what’s around them.

Fi — Valuing

Focuses on personal values and emotions, often making decisions based on deep, internal beliefs and authenticity.

Fe — Connecting

Focuses on others’ emotions and values, striving to maintain harmony and connection in social settings.

Ti — Analyzing

Focuses on internal frameworks of logic, analyzing and creating systems that make sense in a personal and deep way.

Te — Organizing

Focuses on external facts and logic to make decisions, organizing and structuring the world in a practical, efficient way.

Okay now that I have explained that, I'd like to introduce you to a new type of MBTI: the Hybrid

Hybrids are Personality types in MBTI that have strong similar traits of another MBTI.

They will list their core type, and then sub type like this:

XXXX-XXXX eg. ISTP-INTJ

Often seen in complex individuals who have built both traits. It's very rare and can lead to mistypes.

Hybrids can be developed overtime—But usually made by natural developments.

Hybrid types may relate to one side of their Hybrid more and name themselves after that, but their core type likely stays the same.

Hybrids are often found to be more intelligent, some say they are more unstable because they share attributes of both types, but that is not true, they may even be calmer.

Hybrids are seen as official in typology, but will not be listed as something unique. In websites you can select to be a XXXX-XXXX, but subtypes are researched separately from core types.

Hybrid rules:

(Se) is a placeholder. Only first letter matters (Se) can be (Si).

(Se) is a placeholder → Can be Si, Se, etc.

The last two functions must share at least one letter.

A type with (Se) in the first two cannot hybrid with one that has (Se) in the 4th.

At least two functions must be the same (Se —Se, both letters)

Function order cannot be the only difference—at least one function must be different.

A type with (Se) in the first cannot be a type with (Se) in the 3rd or 4th.

Only possible 10 Hybrids are:

ENTP-INFJ

ENTP-ENFP

ENTJ-ESTJ

ENFJ-ESFJ

ENFJ-ISFP

ESTP-ESFP

INTP-ISTP

INTJ-ISTP

INFP-ISFP

ISFJ-ESFJ

All can be switched.

Hybrids usually identify by their core type unless specifying their full typology. While hybrids are acknowledged, content rarely focuses on them unless highly specific—most material only references core types.

Enneagram

now for the second change: Enneagram Vein types

I'm not gonna explain enneagram in too much detail right now. Just know you have a core number, and you can have a wing, that’s one of the two numbers next to your core enne. The enneagram is made up of 9 numbers total, split into 3 groups of 3:

9 - The Peacemaker
8 - The Challenger
7 - The Enthusiast
6 - The Loyalist
5 - The Investigator
4 - The Individualist
3 - The Achiever
2 - The Helper
1 - The Reformer

now instincts. there are 3:
sx = sexual
sp = self-preservation
so = social

You have all 3, but one’s dominant, one’s secondary, and one is your blindspot (the one you have the least of). Example: if sexual is dominant and social is second, you’re an sx/so type. sp is still there, just weaker and that’s your blindspot.

when you combine your core enneagram type and your dominant instinct, you get something like sx9 or sp4.

Now, a Vein happens when you feel a strong, weirdly specific connection to another enneagram type in your same group (gut, heart, or head). It’s not a wing type-feeling it’s more like a psychological connection thats something deep.

Example: if you’re a sx9 but feel a powerful connection to 8 (which is also in the gut group), you might have an 8 Vein. it would look like this:
sx9Vsx8
Format is (instinct)(core number)(V)(instinct)(same group number)

the groups go like this:
Gut — 9, 8, 1
Heart — 2, 3, 4
Head — 7, 6, 5

Veins only show up with types in the core ennes group and not tritype (but might change that) They don’t replace wings, and they don’t count as tritype unless it’s super relevant to your whole structure. I’ve got names for all the Vein types but I want all finished before I say them.

Also this is the same with Hybird MBTI, they dont show up in tests unless very specific.

(Mathing) Basic types: 9 + 160 Vein combos 169

Sorry if its a bit messy im on mobile rn, bc my laptop is broken 😔... Also what have I gotten myself into now I need 169 names dawg 💔

On a end note, I just wanted something posted here as my first blog but I would highly appreciate some critism or opinions on the fake typology system.

Question: If you do like this system, would you want more possible combinations with MBTI or enneagram or not?
