When I was younger and not interested in making accounts except for games like battleon (Adventure Quest) in order to play them, I used to visit websites and rewatch YouTube videos to make sure I didn't forget about them, because I didn't want to forget them.
For the specific case of YouTube, I would visit creator channels daily, cycling through about 8 or so channels, drawing their names from memory just to check if they uploaded something new. In addition, I would also cycle through a bunch of songs (lyric videos), so I wouldn't forget about them. Subsequently, I spent a lot of my time listening and singing to songs on the computer, and I was devoted to reaching that quota of "all the songs i can remember" every time I was online -- a large selection of which were Linkin' Park and All American Rejects songs in the form of Maplestory music videos (mmvs).
When I finally did create a YouTube account in middle school, I never made any playlists of the songs I once adored. I used the Like feature sparingly to curate a playlist that I considered to be something I could listen to forever no matter the occasion -- the songs I put on there had to be that good for me.
It wasn't until after high school that I finally started delving more into playlist-making and curation. Now, I have a mess of playlists that aren't particularly curated much towards anything despite the title I gave it.
I've never been able to admit that I sing as a hobby, because I felt I had to be good at it. But recently, I've realized that people (my irls) don't spend as much time singing as I do. I don't think people sing as much or as often as I do. But, I wouldn't know I only sing by myself indoors. Zero reference. Haha. Whatever!
