the creature in front of you

a creature made up of everything you've ever seen, a creature made up of ugliness and dirt, but also beauty and flowers, made up of freeways and stripmalls, but also palm trees and beaches. A creature that talks and breathes, who sees and destroys, says to me,

"What do you see? in front of you i am your own reflection. is it pretty? is it dark? you can perceive me and judge me all you want, but this is your own doing. you've created a nightmare from your own dreams. you can love me or hate me, but we are one.

everything that you give out to the world reflects back to you. all the ugliness and scars, all the screams and sorrows, but also all the laughter and love, all the patience and kindness that you give to the world is within you and in everything you touch.

It's time for change.

you can't take all the trauma away, but you can heal. and you can start with love.

i am the monster you created, it's time to create one for the better of this earth.
