Rody and Deku; a rant.

What does Rody feel? What does he feel knowing that the boy he risked his life with almost flatlined on TV?

Honestly, he’s probably thinking about how Deku sees him. After all of that Humarise bullshit, was Rody just another civilian from a hero mission to Deku? Clearly not. They spent a week together, running away and saving the world. And I’m saving the world, they cried in each other’s arms after battle. Rody risked his life and it only lasted a minute in his head. He squeezed Deku’s hand so tightly in his own and it makes me wonder what happened? What could be going on if not animated? Rody lived his normal life— away from crime this time— and started this dreams about being a pilot. Deku continues his hero journey, training to beat Shigaraki with his new assets to One For All. 

“I’ll come back and visit for sure,” is was Deku whispered when he willingly embarrassed Rody into his arms. 

IF I WERE RODY, I WOULD’VE BAWLED MY EYES OUT EVERYDAY. 

He would be dreaming every day about his return. And yeah, he did visit Deku and his friends that one time— basically confirming his male yearning— but what happens to them after that? Do they ever talk? Do they continue on with their lives?

The distance would’ve eaten Rody from the inside. And Deku is busy with his hero work which makes me wonder; does he ever think of Rody but in a deep way? The same way Rody thinks about Deku? Deku basically changed Rody’s way of thinking. Deku has the hardest impact on Rody than anyone else in his life; did Rody even leave a mark?

Rody probably thinks that he’s just another case. Probably. I mean, what makes him any different from Melissa Shield, Katsuma and Mahoro Shimano, and Giulio Gandini? He’s grouped up with them. And yet, there was something deeper between the two. In my heart, they visit each other frequently.

But how does Rody feel?
