The family dog had found a baby rabbit, which my dad was able to get away from her. He put it on the other side of our fence (so Winks, our dog, couldn't get it) and when I woke up he let me know. I got a box, put some plants in it, and then was able to get the little rabbit in there. It was jumping around when I was trying to coax it in and is breathing last I checked, so it seems like it's not hurt too bad. My dad's going to bring it to a rehab place after he gets off work (in about 3 hours.) Hopefully the little guy will be okay.
Edit: Okay, so I was able to find the nest. Me and my dad moved a bunch of flowerpots to make a circle around it (there's enough room between them for a rabbit to fit through) and we hope it's enough to keep Winks from getting to the nest. I might see what else we have laying around later so add extra security. Either way, we'll be keeping an eye on her when she goes outside.
Since the baby rabbit we found doesn't seem hurt, my dad's thinking of putting it back in the nest. Hoping if he does it'll be okay.
