writing again !!

i think ive been thinking too hard about my writing lately. while i do one day hope to be a published author, i dont exactly have any deadlines to commit to at the moment; i have a good amount of stories i want to share and write, and no agency to submit them to or comply with. and with how overwhelming my life has been lately ... its really for the best

im not going to push myself and beat myself up for not writing and editing a perfect chapter in a month. im also not going to berate myself for wanting to work on different pieces at a time. its the least amount of mercy i can offer myself; to at least not lose one more passion of mine to the pressure of comercialising it, if that makes any sense.

for now, here's what i'm working on;

Hellbound: The Blasphemous Hand In Hand; an almost-apocalyptic story of love and redemption between an angel and a demon, both tasked with saving the world from imminent destruction, while a mysterious force pulls the strings behind the scenes. A novella spanning 10 chapters, full of bantering, coming to terms with your true nature, and remaining compassionate in the face of loss.

The Hound of Carmilla; a three-part novella series about a serial killer and the high-society vampires trying to catch him before he gets out of hand, set in 19th century London. Currently starting on the first book of the series, The Duke of Whitechapel, spanning 8 chapters, which follows a vampire council-member as he tries to balance out his work and his family life, torn between catching a prolific murderer and keeping his loved ones out of danger.

A yet-unnamed erotic vampire short story; a novella written through the diary entries of a vampire sugar baby and a local priest that cross paths and become intertwined with each other, craving each other's presence despite the divide between them. Set in the 1990s and meant for a mature audience, exploring themes of self-love, redemption, and personal identity.

i have lots more ideas i'm hoping to expand on sometime, but right now, these are my top priorities; slowly but very surely, i'll work on them, and before i know it, my works will come to life before my eyes and i hope to share them with you all <3
