80s Compaq Computer, not working

while in my father's storage room, i just so happened to stumble across a relic of the times--a Compaq portable computer, right from the 1980s! 

i tried my best to get it working but there was no charger and when i asked my dad, he simply stated that he couldn't get it running last time he tried, with the charger .. (~10 years ago.)

the keyboard even has a little manual!

i think it's absolutely beautiful. with it, i found a box of old floppy disks and their respective names and envelopes. no games, unfortunately, but a fruitful bunch of relics made by my grandmother all the way back in the 80s (with dates!)

blast from the past! all the way from 1992! many of them were older, but this was the only photo i got. 

what a funny finding! i will be sure to update if i can properly get it working!
