Group Made Prototype: DEV LOG 2 Getting My High Priority Tasks Done

Hi! So i have completed both of my high priority tasks and this is how it went. From my last post i said i will be working on the ui elements for my game.

I was able to add this by writing the advantages and disadvantages of each dragon on a sprite and pulling that over (tweening) when a dragon is clicked. this was to improve player accessibility, instead of having to play the dragon to understand its abilities (which in most cases made them miss some of the abilities they had). so after that, this is what the character select screen looks like:

Also! Alyssa created a projectile cooldown UI which is what the flame icon is on the right hand corner. Basically it counts from when the player shoots a projectile, until the flame is recharged. like so: 

ill probably have to replace the UI she used to better suit the style of the game, but since that would be a low priority task it probably wont be implemented in time.

i was able to implement this when we met up, i found that meeting in person was the most effective way for the whole team to complete this project and i will talk about this more in the next post. Anyways after that i realisied i had a lot of time to do another of the tasks i wanted to get done which is making the assets for the powerups.

Of course, my team member, Jack, is going to be programing the actual functionality of them.
