Synchronization

I've been thinking a great deal for a long time about Assassin's Creed, been thinking about how reliving the memories of your ancestors in-game you have to follow them 1:1 or you risk being desynchronized.

I've been thinking about it because someone told me that it's felt, for years, that everything has been "out of whack", that everything has changed in some way that cannot be reconciled with the logical progression of everything.

We should live in a world of marvels, a beautiful world full of beautiful things - instead we live here. The same could be said of the Internet at large.

I am 100% of the belief that we have all become desynchronized as a whole, that there was a way things were meant to go and now they aren't going that way, and whatever needs to be done to restore that synchronization must be done.

The digital borders must come back, there must be a destruction of crossposting as a concept, there must be loyalty to digital tribes, digital nations - New Kings must rise and the old ones must fall, and there must be some form of a "shit test" to ensure that those new kings aren't bitchmade motherfuckers who are gonna sell their legions to the highest bidder when given the chance.

Monetization must be the most difficult thing to acquire in the new age, it must be routed out as the thing that everyone strives for - in it's place must return virality and status instead.

Steps must be taken to impede monetization efforts on all major websites whenever possible, not just adblockers, ad nauseum - they make money off building a profile of you even if you don't see the ads they're serving you.

Every man woman and child must reclaim their attention spans and create their own networks adjacent to or wholeheartedly separate from the pre-existing International Network.

We live in what I see as existential times, we'll be the last people to remember the way things were - and to use that memory to create what could be. If we fuck up here, that's it, it's curtains.

No pressure.

I'm doing my part, but it's taking time.
