The Dead Internet Theory is less a Theory and more an observation.

Yes, the amount of bots clearly outnumber the amount of real human beings.

All that needs to be asked is where the bots are coming from.

Simple answer is places like china and india.

Third world shitholes where $1 USD goes a lot longer of a way than it does here.

You wanna get rid of bots? Ban all IP ranges in those countries and forbid VPN usage.

Alternatively, a first world "Intranet" would fix the issue as well.

Everyone waxes poetic about the Internet from 20 years ago, back then it was exclusively Americans, The Japs, maybe some Euros - that's it. Even ten years ago the millions upon millions of third worlders in bullshitistan had no idea what the fuck a satellite even was, now they're getting access to every website and shitting up the discourse 24/7.

Make no mistake, closed borders for the digital world is a necessity moving forward if you ever wanna restore proper synchronization.
