BEHOLD, FRANCIS!

Behold, Francis! Here stands an individual who makes every discipline his playground. Maybe you’ve seen him clinking down the halls in self-modded crutches and an attire which is sure to startle any Republican. Perhaps you’ve heard him improvising avant-garde jazz on virtually every instrument on campus. And if you’ve shared a class with him, you’d have seen the way he crushes class curricula under an unrestrained whimsy and humor.

Rarely is Francis seen outside school, but not without reason. His released music takes the sounds you know and weaves them with a passion for devastation; his online blog documents hours of introspection and analysis of his peers; find him trading sleep for hours, scraping through scavenged PDFs and video diaries, forsaking his eyes for words and images that provoke.

Also, Francis has completed his associate's in Chemistry at Golden West in prelude to his biology degree at UCI, all for a career in genetic engineering.

Francis is driven to learn and create. He is a goofy, ridiculous human finding the limits of his existence, mastering the foundation of habit while honoring the mind in its ability to play and reimagine. This is what true rigor looks like when it plays.
