Moving back

Senior year is basically here. I have huge dreams for my future. It’s scary. But what’s even scarier is my current plight. My family wants to leave America and go back to Europe once I graduate, especially Germany. However, I based my dreams around staying here in America and going to Howard University. While Germany is 100x better than the US, I still dk if it’s what I want. Going to an HBCU would be so amazing. Being surrounded by people that look like me and stand for what I stand for would be amazing. But, going back to Germany would cure that part of me that misses my home. The decision does lie with how our country will turn into in a matter of years. But with both decisions, I will be leaving Texas and leaving everyone behind. It’s tough out here. #wishmeluck
