Diary entry seven- AHHHHHHHHHH

today is 5/9/2025, and it's a Friday and you know what that means!!! i'm about to get political because i'm pmsing like a motherfucker right now.

The tariff situation is getting even more crazy. i know that sounds like a YouTube thumbnail but i'm serious. trump is clearly not in his right mind if he thinks Mattel the toy company that created barbie and hot wheels is a country. i'm serious about this btw he said that he's going to put a 100% tariff on Mattel, and that he won't be able to sell a single doll in the country. cause a beautiful 15 year old girl doesn't need 37 dolls. like fuck off seriously fuck off. i collect dolls as a hobby since as a child most of my dolls were taken from me or sold by my mother for alcohol money, so me collecting dolls is healing that little bit of my inner child and is helping me process a lot of the trauma i've experienced in my early childhood. that's a big trend somewhat in the collecting community, but also barbie is just pretty sometimes ok. the conservative hate for barbie has been a thing since the 60s if you look hard enough in old newspaper clippings, but it really became a thing ins the 2000s and 2010s. Ever see those pictures of "Oh this is what barbie would look like if she was a human! look how weird her proportions she is!" ignoring the fact that if you do that for anything even heman would look weird (also the one i always think of just make her wayyyy to skinny, i'm talking monster high level of skinny which don't get me started on the hate monster high got and with bratz) but people criticized her for how "skimpy" her outfits are and how she promotes man hating feminism! (also ignoring the fact that barbie loves ken and loved her ex Blaine) its shit like that that has always been a thing in conservative circles, luckily my grandma doesn't care, oddly enough she loves monster high, loves barbie, barely tolerates bratz and is very much aware of the collecting community because i will talk to her about it since who the hell else do i have to talk about with it. i need to be more active online i know.

the conservative push in some of my favorite online places is fucking depressing, star trek has always had a conservative trekkie issue and thats the one that always annoys the shit out of me and now doll collecting is having that damn issue. fuck off nazi doll collectors, we don't want you!

also the shit about the new pope which i will say is iconic he hates JD vance and is from america but also covered up sexual abuse. see this is why i can't be catholic and i would never date a catholic unless under very specfic situations. newmax was legitmately mad that he did a speech in italian and spanish instead of english, bitch are you stupid???
