what a lovely day

today i had a wonderful day. i woke up early as my parents were coming and was able to do some quick chores before they got here. they picked me up and i slept in the car on our journey. we drove to st abbs national trust car park and ate lunch (i had a ham and cheddar toastie but i dont like cheddar so it was gross) and then we headed on our walk. it was the most beautiful weather and the walk was gorgeous. it was a coastal walk and there were thousands of seabirds nesting and the noise that you could hear when you leaned over the cliff edge was wonderful. there were the prettiest flowers growing all over the cliff edges and i got to see some amazing wildlife. it was a lot hotter than i expected and so by the time we started our return my legs were shaking from exhaustion. when we got back to the car i had a drink and felt much better. then we headed into a nearby town to get a drink from the pub. we popped into a small antique shop and i got this gorgeous bangle. the pub had a very fun energy and the people were very nice. walking around the town we saw some memorials, an old church, and some gravestones that were knights templar. next we drove to get fish and chips and then travelled back to st abbs to eat it at the harbour. we walked around afterwards and i found two geocaches. finally we drove home and the sun was setting on the perfect day. my parents came in for a while and had some of the cake i made. after they left we watched a movie and now we are watching youtube. i hope the days to come are as beautiful as this one was
