well, it's been a while

wow... i blinked and six months passed without me even checking this blog, time's going crazy, huh? 

it's 2025 and we're already in may, it's so surreal!! i feel like it was yesterday we were celebrating new year's day and now we're almost half way of the year. i confess it's kinda scary to think how fast time is ticking and that 2015 was 10 years ago! i mean... it doesn't feel right, yknow?

the more we go ahead, the more i wanna go back... to 2014, 2015... things were so damn different, they felt more like "home", i don't know a word for this feeling. now thinking in 5 years we'll be in 2030 feels so wrong and so sad. i think 2030 is that year we always talked about but it felt so far, so distant and now knowing that in a blink of an eye 2030 will come, then 2040, then 2050

i wish time stopped, the decade of 2000-2020 was the best. there was the pandemic which was horrible, but pulling it away for a moment, things were so much better before 2020. the world was so different, i think even the food tasted different. i think there is why blogs like this exist, i'm not the only one who feels this nostalgia, this feeling of wanting to go back in time.

and i think we will never feel that way again. never, no matter how much we try to bring back 2014's trends, 2000s songs... that feeling, that world, those people will never be the same
