because god FORBID a man wear tights and a skirt /j
^this outfit needs more contrast but i don't have anything good in my closet for it. in general, i don't really have any fitted tops.
[ there were more outfits, but the photos turned out pretty bad. i usually use a digicam but my tripod is missing so i decided to use my webcam and... well, that's the quality i got. ]

in all seriousness it's just too nerve-wracking wearing cute stuff like this in public. even if i didn't mind the ostracization, breaking norms is still an active struggle of unlearning ingrained humiliation.
like i know that i shouldn't let myself be bothered by most imagined constructs/norms. but damn do they bother me. i think someday i'll be totally fearless and that's when i'll have finally beaten gender.
also, i actually wore this skirt a lot in 9th grade. somehow. i was less mature and somehow more driven/desperate to express cuteness. it was definitely still a difficult experience being a dude in a skirt everyday, but that was definitely solid character development.
oh well..

skirt is eating 1st outfit is GIVING HATSUNE MIKU PUNK SO GOOD! loves it it's a 10/10 clearly so like try to embody that younger you that was doing things morefrom the impulse of wanting to be cute because then things will really get through
one does not realize when the heck they do beat up gender, but it's like...
if it feels right enough to do that it's like shit yea you feel like shit but at least you feel like cute shit who actually expresses themselves the way they wanna be expressed
or at least that's what i imagine i could have felt. I started wearing skirts and cute clothes out of the desperation for already being myself and liking those clothes, and i got it. Also it felt natural, but beyond feeling natural just liking it is enough
it's probably harder to come off as a natural thought with all of the humilliation so may your room and closet always see your most fashionable styles...
