A giant dick over that way

The rescue mission was great as always, we served around 200 people and one person had to be escorted out by police.  I enjoyed greeting people and serving food to them.  My favorite part is when someone has a special diet and we get to make them a special plate.  We get the chance to give them some extra care and attention that way.  Afterwards we went to a Chinese restaurant and fed the team.  We got a bunch of food and shared.  I met someone new, and enjoyed talking with him and getting to know him a bit.  We shared some of each other's stories and found we had some things in common.  I got hugs from the older people in the group, they are really sweet and always happy to see me.  I got invited to an anime watch party next week, which I'm super excited about.  I also got offered a tomato plant which I turned down because I have a black thumb.

Today I had a hard day because...well I won't go into it but just silly drama at work that resulted in my boss telling me he was thinking about letting me go.  And I basically told him, don't threaten me with a good time, and then he backed off 😂.  But it put me in a grumbly mood the rest of the day which I'm just now coming out of.  Also something terrible happened with one of the businesses in the same plaza as my company's office.  There were a bunch of cop cars and an ambulance there and someone got arrested, so I was worried there was some violence or someone might have gotten hurt.

...I made sure to leave on time today.

On my way home, there was a guy on a bicycle who apparently got put off by something a driver did and shouted, that guy's a dick.  And then he saw me pulling up to the same light and said to me "watch out there's a giant dick over that way", so I was like "okay".
