Were people genuinely surprised when he said homophobic slurs? Have those people never listened to his music before? Why was that where people drew the line but not the blatant misogyny. I don't support his views btw I just enjoy his music and he is a good lyricist / MC and an icon in the DnB scene. People are just weird

I wish more people separated art from the artists. There's art I love but I refuse to get to know the artist just in case they're awful. Unless an artist explicitly states a progressive opinion about a topic or group I automatically assume they don't know or don't like said thing.
Yeah it's easy enough to listen to music without profiting the creator if I strongly disagree with who they are / their views and actions
