having a friend who questions me being aroace(spec)

im not saying dont ask questions. ASK questions, but be aware that not everyone is willing to answer or can answer

a person is aroace/aroacespec for their own reason(s). if they dont have any, thats okay. im aroace because:

#1. i dont understand the priority of romantic feelings and needing to experience them

#2. i experience platonic love/feelings A LOT

#3. sex isnt a priority for me. im not entirely asexual, though

#4. being aroace has made me feel comfortable with my complex romantic and sexual orientations 

however, insinuating that im aroace(spec) due to trauma makes me uncomfortable. if someone is, due to trauma, then thats okay, and i support them in their journey. in this context, its about me, and its not okay because its not the reason, and i have made it very clear
