15/04/25 // sick as hell rn

i have to drop out of my chem class. we have a 3 day absence limit and im abt to hit my third day. im just... so fucking unwell. my bro came back from the military super sick, and i guess i got whatever he had. it sucks. i cant speak over a whisper, im coughing literally every 5 seconds, my throat hurts to an insane degree and there is never any relief. ive been feverish, too, which is obviously awful. just shivering constantly. went to the doctor to get tested for strep throat even though it's unlikely i have it, they basically said they cant do anything and i just have to ride it out. negative for covid, too. i just wish i knew wtf was happening to me so i can gauge how long it'll last. i think the worst part is honestly the laryngitis. genuinely feels like theres something stuck in my throat from the swelling. havent rlly been talking to anyone until today bc ive had a killer headache.

i wish i didnt have to drop my course. i really enjoy school and my teacher is really kind. it also means im going to be in school for a bit longer than i planned lmfao. whatever. is what it is.
