Irritated

My stepdad has short term memory problems. We thought he forgot to feed my dog when he fed the other dogs (Ellie eats in the hall near my room as opposed to with the others) and she was whining like she wanted something. So I asked John if he fed her and he proceeded to say that he did and got all defensive about it. So when he was distracted I went out there and he indeed left Ellie’s bowl of food by the kitchen sink. Poor puppy. John can be such a dick sometimes, even my mom has gotten after him for answering me coldly before. It doesn’t help that I’m autistic so sometimes when I’m being genuine people think that I’m saying something to be rude because they don’t understand neurodivergent people.
