Gotham TV show

Hello after YEARS of having this show on my watchlist i finally started the batman live action spinoff batman show Gotham thats centered around mostly Jim Gordon and a few of the villains around, thankfully a lot of my favorite ones, im only on season one episode 9 at the moment but its cool so far, im already seeing Edward Nygma's slow slip into evil and its really great, i love his portrayal so much in this show i find him very relatable (hes autistic hes like me so outwardly and i am now emotionally invested in his story arc) The Penguin as a character was painful to watch for a little but now i like him a lot as well, hes such a kissass and hes so cunning at the same time. The weirdest aspects of this show that take getting used to are the characters that dont match up with bruce waynes age or that are thrown in in a way that changes their whole original origin, Selina Kyle for starters i dont really enjoy her yet, i find the romantic thing with bruce weird, but ive got 13 more episodes of season one for her to get a little bit better, harvey dent AND bullock being the age they are is weird for me too, i always imagined wayne and dent to be similar in age and hes a whole adult in the show. Alfred also took some getting used to at first he was kind of a jerk but i suppose hes coming around for me now, he had this whole emotionally unavailable thing at first for bruce which was upsetting but its okay. In total this show has me hooked and i suppose waiting 4 years to watch it might have been a good thing cause younger me would be so bored but now i am actually not a little freak and i get to look back at this batman fixation as i lt has returned after all those years and i get to reappreciate a media that i grew up with and explore new parts of it, it hurts to admit i was a giant joker fan as a kid but now i am much more fond of the riddler, rewatching the old 90s show i LITERALLY grew up watching is also amazing because my dad grew up with it too so its something we are both getting to rewatch whenever he pops in to watch with me, its awesome and I am really glad that i got back into it unironically after redrawing some old art that was ironic at the time (it was batman and joker art and my old designs were genuinely vile so i had to redesign the ENTIRE batman character roster obviously, which im still not finished with) But EEEKK!!! Everything is Awesome!!! Riddler me fr!!!!!
