Concept of DNI lists and blocking people

Call me a bad person, but a lot of times I don't check peoples DNIs before interacting and I find it silly that others expect it. Before giving someone a follow? Of course. Before commenting one's post? Sure, sometimes. Before liking their post? Absolutely not.

I find it to be way too much work to do that for every single person and to be honest I thought everyone thought like that. But sometimes I scroll through Twitter and see post like "wtf, why [certain group of people] gives likes to my posts, i clearly have them in my dni" which brings me to my next point.

Blocking people - option that is required on every single social app, yet I think some people refuse to do it. If someone bothers you it's way easier to just block them. I get that people you're uncomfortable with liking your post might be not the nicest, but these are realia of being on social media. You're supposed to create your own space and unless it's blatant harassment (not just one interaction where no words are spoken) I think it's just way easier to block these individuals.

The other think that both amuses and annoys me are posts like "why did this person block me i dont even know them lmaoo". Which is silly, considering the point I already made. Block button is my best friend, I dont need to interact with you to block you. Either for your opinions, I am on your DNI list, you follow someone I don't fuck with or I just had a bad day and you seemed obnoxious, etc. etc. I think people should stop taking being blocked so personally.

One last think about DNIs - what the fuck does it mean "basic DNIs". Sometimes people link lists of what does this include, but I saw different versions, so every time I'm confused. If you're already making such a list please just include every group of people you don't want to interact with, it can't so much more work.
