pesto's café adventure

hello all! today, it's been unusually warm. like 76°f in march warm. i'm choosing to ignore the worrying reasons for the unusual warmth (at least until i'm in a more stable mental state) and i'm choosing to have a nice day.

i woke up and put on my favourite pair of denim shorts that i haven't worn since september, and a slightly-too-small pusheen the cat shirt. i decided to accessorise with lots of kandi, my dog collar, and a crystal nose ring. bob came over as soon as i was up and we spent a few minutes outside in the cloudy, warm weather.

i dressed pesto up for today's weather. isn't he cute?

i packed pesto in my backpack (with his head peeking out, of course) and we went to the grocery store to return bottles for some extra cash. that went well, and when we were done, we went to our favourite café for some lunch! pesto got to sit on the table, of course.

i got my usual banana vanilla cold brew and a chicken bacon cheddar burrito, and bob got an iced cinnamon cocoa with a breakfast burrito. i love the chips and salsa that come with the burritos- idk what it is because it's probably not made in-house, but it's really yummy!

nothing too interesting in the little free library today, unfortunately. for some reason someone put an empty notepad and pen in a huge fabric case- not really sure why that was in there.

anyway, on the way home, i randomly said "wanna go to goodwill?" with a smile, and bob agreed. i was a bit on edge since i used to work at that goodwill and left that job in tears, but i didn't see anyone i knew there. we scanned the entire store and i found something really cool- a build a bear closet covered in BAB and american girl stickers!! it was super cheap and i would have loved to get it, but i have such little space in my hoarded-out kawaii kei retro landfill of a bedroom that i had no idea where i would've put it. i hope whoever gets it really appreciates it!

i ended up picking out a barbie as rapunzel vhs tape, a copy of jojo's bizarre adventure: stardust crusaders volume 12, and a huuuuge gudetama coffee cup! i'm drinking coffee out of it as i write this. (don't worry, i washed it really well!)

it was a fun day today! it's nice to be able to spend a little money after such a long time of having nothing (i got a sizeable tax return). have you found anything interesting at the thrift store recently? i'd love to hear about your finds!
