different dreams

eighty percent dreams occur during rem. ive had dreams outside of rem, they are more commonly nightmares.

i remember an early dream i had under twenty minutes after falling asleep. i realized i was dreaming, so i did something risky thinking i could just wake up right after. but after failing i couldnt wake up on command and i became somewhat worried. the dream switched, and i saw a vision from space of red rockets being fired from massive grey metal structures larger than earth all while sirens blared in my ears. when i woke up i was paralyzed in the darkness of my room and everyone my eyes darted to i saw messily hand drawn in ink depictions of feminine figures bleeding with various sharp weapons scattered between them, all while i could still here the sirens.

recently i had another atypical dream. an animal pounced on me and begged for me to help it in quietly whispered english. i tried but only seemed to cause it more pain. i woke up shortly after falling asleep.

almost two years ago i had a dream that i walked into a beautifully decrepit locker room and looked at myself covered in scars in the mirror. when i left i fell over, paralyzed as someone walked up to me and pointed out my foolishness in coming there. i woke up soon after i had fallen asleep.

what part of my brain is resting and going to heaven for these dreams to happen compared to what happens in normal dreams?undefined
