spilling words like coffee

We did presentations today in school, and what I found the most interesting upon observing people was the way their eyes stayed directly fixated on the teacher, not daring to inch a milimeter away and god forbid see anyone else. I remember at the beginning of the year, how their eyes would scatter everywhere as they spoke, words sticking to each crevice of their throats as they spit them out. Its funny how despite the way their eyes bore holes into the teachers scalp, they seem to focus on the crowd with such intensity. How is it that without even looking, a mere movement, a glimpse of a head turned in their direction is all it takes for their heart to race a little quicker- at the though of someone liking them, someone judging them, someone paying attention to them. Its not to judge them that im writing all this, I'm no different at times but I like talking about it, the way us humans talk about the mannerisms of bees in a beehive, watching and describing a civilisation different to our own.
