I had a pretty good week.
Plant stuff!! :
I began the process of hardening off all my seedlings and bought two blueberry plants for my garden. Then I planted some spinach, cauliflower, chives, lettuce, and flowers to hopefully draw in some pollinators
I also spent a lot of time caring for my new tea plant which is why I initially bought my blueberries (the soil pH content of the blueberries and tea is the same so if my blueberries die outside this year it will tell me whether or not to move my tea)
I found a tiny snail eating my collards which is fine because the collards are only there for bugs and snails to eat anyway (it helps them steer clear of my other plants so I don’t mind feeding them)
This week I also found a little brown bat hanging upside down in my boyfriend’s workshop. We named it Adam!
Tech stuff!! ;
The charger for my light green Sony Walkman NWS14 came in. The issue was the player being in Japanese with every online source saying that it was impossible to change to English.
Naturally, I attempted to do it anyway with the rock box region destination changer through a command center on my laptop
To my surprise, it worked! I factory reset it, and it is completely in English. The only downside of this is the loss of all the cool Japanese music from the guy who had it before, but oh well! I downloaded some Marina onto it and the only issue now is the artist meta data not loading or acting up on the Walkman itself even though I went through and changed it all manually
The next step through my old tech journey is to get a charger for my dsi and homebrew it!!
Date:
This week, we went on an iceskating date and got ive cream afterward. He was a lot better at skating than last time we went, and he was more of a risk taker this time too. We had a really good time on our date! Next time I’m going to try skating backward!
Then we made lamb for dinner and the next day we had some more lamb meat so I cooked that up in a cast iron skillet over the fire he was using to forge a knife.
Hope you guys have had a good week too!
