Notts Notes

I am back home from Notts and therefore back at work and therefore back on spacehey

I wrote some notes whilst in notts; Notts Notes:

Sunday afternoon arrive at 3(?) //Wander around (mostly empty) city //In the evening play minecraft and watch adventure time

Monday morning Asda shop// Come home make breakfast and eat// Then Nottingham castle and Wollaton hall// In the evening watch rocky horror picture show and talk

Tuesday we wake up and talk for ages, we try to plan Poland and end up talking until 14:00. We leave to do a bit of shopping and we check out a big vintage shop and then go to Portello Lounge and I get a copy of the magazine being sold by the homeless guy - it's about graffitti. We come home and eat and get ready to go out - I meet Kate's friends and chat and we share a cig and then we go to rescue rooms and stealth and dance away. It is now 03:34 and we are on the night bus on our way home. Whilst on the night bus I also wrote this: 

We were waiting for the night bus and just outside the city hall the guys were playing footie and the saxophone player was off playing in the distance. In the night they rejoice like children in the square; running and jumping and chasing; and he plays like the artist he is and fills the air with sweet music. Everything is simple and obvious and wonderful and I love being alive 

Wednesday Kate's co-hosting the knit stitch and bitch at 12 so we get up around ten and head down for 12:30. I set my stuff up in the shop. We have a meal in the cafe and Ian gives us free fries. I'm so proud of her. She showed me round the whole building and I really really wish I worked somewhere like that now. We need places like that. We then went to the vintage emporium and we are now in Sneinton where we will sit for a while and potentially drink and sketch. 

sorry if any of that sounds contrived. Yes, I was trying to sound a bit like Jack Kerouac. Let me be. I meant everything I said.
