So, I want to start reading again because it's been a while since my last book and i can feel my brain rusting from the disuse. I would love if someone could recommend me some books to read, i'm particularly interested in books about loneliness and/or depression since i want to read a story i can relate to (lol). The shorter the better (uni is starting soon and won't have much time to read).
Thank you!

Okay, sorry for responding so late!!! I've been reading Crime and Punishment, and it's been so good! I swear Dostoevsky really knew what it was like to go a little crazy and consider murder as some misguided, deranged last resort! Raskolnikov is an asshole, sure, but he gets his comeuppance! It's like Death Note... without everything that makes Death Note, Death Note, aha.
Another fun classic is Frankenstein! I know it's been adapted a lot, but it really is a good book! We like to say the real monster is Frankenstein... but I don't think the monster is in the clear, even if he does read Paradise Lost.
Finally, for my last classic... The Count Of Monte Cristo. Now there's a story! You want sad? It's there! You want revenge, you've got it! Joy and love? You already know! A guide on how to escape jail? What book is complete without one?

No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai is a great book involving depression, loneliness and putting on façades (although kind of long, ~150 pages), you might like it
