Recently I've been thinking about upgrading my PC. I've always thought about it since my PC has some issues and I could use the upgrade anyway but I've thought about it even more as it turns out my GPU might be a bit too weak for Halo MCC since Halo 2: Classic keeps giving me the fatal D3D Device lost error and my GPU is integrated so I can't really replace it. I'm aware that I can just get a new graphics card and make the computer use that in the BIOS but I wouldn't know which one to get for my PC and like I said I have other issues with it and need to upgrade anyway. I usually find myself having to tweak game settings for better performance which sometimes doesn't work very well such as with Entropy Zero or big Garry's Mod maps or Halo 2: Classic on MCC apparently. I even have some slight issues with fucking Minecraft. It's so bad that my PC can't even run GIMP properly and it freezes and crashes so much which is why I use GIMP on my laptop. Sometimes my video editing software can be a bit laggy as well. I also can't connect to the internet without a wifi extender. My PC is also too old and underpowered to update to Windows 11 which might actually be a good thing since Windows 11 sucks but at some point I will probably have to update to Windows 11 so that could be a problem in the future. Been browsing some cheap but good prebuilts which are actually dedicated for gaming since mine is just meant to be a normal desktop. These cheap ones seem to be what I need as I don't see myself running very big games that require a NASA supercomputer that costs thousands of dollars or whatever and I found four that are 700$, 880$, 930$, and 1000$. Technically it's actually two but the four different prices are for different parts. I don't know if I'll actually bite the bullet and upgrade since while that's cheap for gaming PCs, it's still a lot and my PC isn't the only thing I need to upgrade. I also need to upgrade my old ass iPhone so I need money for that as well since that's also a lot of money. Hopefully something comes out of it though.

if your pc is old and underpowered, id steer clear of upgrading it and just get a prebuilt instead. if you do start shopping for a prebuilt pc, id reccomend staying away from places like bestbuy and amazon, as the prices there are normally pretty high for what you get.
