So I might be depressed but at least The Sims exists ykyk
sorry i had a different first sentence planned but realized im entering a depressive episode right as i started typing. it correlates though, because my issues with gaming is usually the first sign i get that im not producing enough dopamine and serotonin. i want to play games... i want to spend hours building the perfect house in the sims, i want to playthrough some of the hardest nso endings again, i want to start a new save on papas freezeria and just fuck around but the moment i start i just lose motivation.
ive been watching Dan and Phil play The Sims while I game which is helping me stay interested, but even after an hour or so i find myself disinterested and then scroll on tumblr for a while or change my spacehey layout. im starting to think that maybe it's a good thing...? but i also know (as of the beginning of this blog entry) that im literally just chasing a dopamine hit.
now, back to my planned blog post: anybody got short, sweet and simple sims 4 challenges/storyline ideas? i hate legacy challenges, rags-to-riches is easy once you get a computer and i'm honestly really tired of doing the same thing over, and over, and over again (for reference i usually end up having authors or painters as my primary sims - yes ive tried to get away from it)
ive been looking for some fun stuff to play through, even just to distract myself and i cant really find anything thats not like "pOuR yOuR lIfE iNtO tHe SiMs YoU wOn'T rEgReT iT' when even on my best of days my sims binges only last a few weeks at a time.
also: any free games would be greatly appreciated because i am in fact very broke atm
sorry for any incoherent rambling - it's five o'clock somewhere, right?
